Yee’s Hung Ga Kung Fu Academy is on Henry Street at the edge of Manhattan’s Chinatown. Sifu Joseph Demundo is a student of Grandmaster Frank Yee and the academy was founded in 1973. Hung Ga is a Southern Shaolin style of Kung Fu and incorporates classical animal and elemental techniques. The style was made famous by the folk hero Wong Fei Hung, of whom many films have been made.

Mythic Combat Academy is on Amsterdam Ave and 169th Street in Washington Heights. Chris Yee is a 7th generation instructor and is a student of Pak Mei Kung Fu Master Kwong Man Fong, his late uncle. Pai/Pak Mei Kung Fu is rooted in Shaolin Kung Fu.

Philadelphia Wing Chun Kung Fu is on N 10th St. in Philly’s Chinatown. Grandmaster Art Eng is the head instructor and founder of the USA Wing Chun Kuen Association, of which the school is a part of. Grandmaster Eng is a 3rd Generation disciple in the Yip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu Family and is a certified instructor under Terence Yip (Yip Pui).

Bo Law Kung Fu is in Manhattan’s Chinatown. Headed by Sifu Paul Koh, Bo Law teaches traditional Chinese Kung Fu and weapons to adults and children. I believe they used to be located on 14th street and 6th Ave and I used to walk by the school every day going to and from high school.
