The Shito-Ryu Genbu-Kai Honbu Dojo is on North Parton Street in Santa Ana, California. Founded and operated by Shihan Fumio Demura until his death in 2023, the Genbu-Kai Honbu teaches Shito-Ryu Karate to adults and children. Shito-Ryu was founded by Kenwa Mabuni in 1934 and combines Shuri Te and Naha Te Karate styles. Shihan Fumio Demura was a Shito-Ryu 9th Dan and stunt double for Pat Morita in the Karate Kid films. Morita based Mr. Miyagi’s character and accent off of Demura Shihan.

カリフォルニア州のサンタアナで糸東流玄武会は子供と大人に教えている伝統糸東流空手道場です。道場長は２０２３年に亡くなった出村文男師範でした。出村師範は８０年代にベスト・キッドのモリタ・パットさん（宮城先生）のスタントマンでした。
