Osagame Martial Arts is located near the Little Saigon neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Home to the Philadelphia Judo Club, the oldest continuously operating martial arts school in Philly, they teach Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Kickboxing. Sensei Ray Huxen is a 4th degree black belt in Judo and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. For BJJ, they are affiliated with the Marcelo Garcia Association.

Shooto Gym Kobe is a mixed martial arts gym near Motomachi Station in Kobe, Japan. Shooto is one of Japan’s oldest mixed martial arts organizations and promotions. It is often a feeder organization to larger professional promotions. The head coach at STGK is Kazuhiro Sakamoto , a veteran Shooto fighter since the 80’s.  The gym teaches MMA, Wrestling, BJJ, and Kickboxing.When I taught English in Japan, my apartment was about 20-30 mins away from Motomachi Station.

神戸の元町駅の近くに修斗ジム神戸は総合格闘技、キックボクシング、レースリング、ブラジリアン柔術を教えているジムです。修斗は日本で一番古い総合格闘技団体です。道場長は８０年代から修斗ベテラン坂本一弘会長です。

New York San Da is on 35th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in Manhattan. Right near Madison Square Garden/Penn Station. Sifu David Ross is a disciple of Grandmaster Chan Tai-San, a master of Lama Pai Kung Fu and Tibetan Yoga. Grandmaster Chan was also an experienced San Da instructor and passed that knowledge onto Sifu David. The gym teaches San Da/Muay Thai classes as well as fitness kickboxing classes.

Philadelphia Wing Chun Kung Fu is on N 10th St. in Philly’s Chinatown. Grandmaster Art Eng is the head instructor and founder of the USA Wing Chun Kuen Association, of which the school is a part of. Grandmaster Eng is a 3rd Generation disciple in the Yip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu Family and is a certified instructor under Terence Yip (Yip Pui).
