Founded in 1952 by a top student of Chojun Miyagi, Meitoku Yagi, the dojo is located in the historic Kume district of Naha. The dojo is now run by Meitoku’s second son, Meitetsu Yagi. Although they are a traditional Okinawan Karate dojo, some of the younger dojo members now compete in Kyokushin style knockdown karate tournaments.This is one of the actors from the movie ” Kuro Obi”, Akihito Yagi’s family dojo.
那覇市久米村で1952年に創建して、始祖は宮城長順のトップ弟子八木明徳でした。現在、明徳の次男八木明哲は道場長です。八木道場は伝統の剛柔流道場ですけど、子供の道場性は時々極真らしいなフルコンタクト空手大会に出ってます。
この道場は『黒帯』って言う人気映画の主役八木明人の家族経営道場です。
