Notes/コメント：The International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan (Matsui/IKO-1) So Honbu Dojo in Ikebukuro, Tokyo was set up by the IKO-1 after they vacated the original Honbu Dojo. It is about a 5 minute walk away from the original building. These days, I believe it functions more like a regular neighborhood dojo and all the important events are held at the new Daikanyama Dojo.

Notes/コメント：During Golden Week 2015 , I went up to Tokyo and was kindly (but forcefully) asked to vacate my bunk in the capsule hotel I had booked, because I had tattoos and the hotel was only had hot spring bathrooms. Therefore, they had a strict no tattoo policy.The hot spring bath/no tattoo policy was not posted on the booking website I had used and I had no way of knowing. Anyway, I got my money back and booked myself a room in a business hotel in what I thought was pretty sketchy part of Ikebukuro. But to my surprise and delight Tri-Force Jiu Jitsu’s Honbu Dojo was right next to my new hotel.

Founded in 2004 by Mitsuyoshi Hayakawa, a black belt under Alexandre “Gigi” Paiva, the school now has several branches around Tokyo and further away in Osaka and Fukuoka.

2004年創建して,アレシャンドレシーシーパイヴァをもらった黒帯早川光由先生は師範です。池袋本部に加えて、国内で道場が１０箇所あります。

Notes/コメント：Built and founded in 1964, the Honbu Dojo of the Kyokushinkaikan was headquarters for the organization of up to 12 million practitioners and housed the founder, Mas Oyama’s, office. This is where Sosai Mas Oyama taught and where generations of uchi deshi, sensei, and shihan lived and trained.

1964年創建して、この道場は1200万会員だった連盟の総本部道場です。ここに大山倍達総裁は何世代にもわたって生徒達や内弟子などに教えました。
